"move on now" as written by and Richard Archer....
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now

Looking out my bedroom window
See the planes to come from Heathrow
Only when they come and go
On and on on and on

I think about the places I'd go
I think about this place I call home
All the shots and all that come
All around all around

Red light blinking in the twilight
Tracing in a path right out of here and now
Red light blinking in the twilight
Tracing in a path right out of here and now

Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now

Don't you think its quiet around here
Doesn't seem so much to do here
Thinking back to this time last year
Good times good times good times
Don't you think we stay for too long
Don't you think the color has gone
Get on a plane it can't be wrong
Moving on, Moving on

Red light blinking in the twilight
Tracing in a path right out of here and now
Red light blinking in the twilight
Tracing in a path right out of here and now

Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now

Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now
Baby, Baby
Baby, Baby
Baby, Baby I think its time we move on now

Those things they look empty
But wait til it all comes down
Nothings going on round here
Its time we let it change
Got a feeling my love
We've gotta get out
Before it brings us down (down down)

General Commenti bought the cd while on my stay in bristol, and was listening it on my way back to the boring and grey prague, and i would do anything just to be able to stay in england. when back in prague, these lyrics just express everything. it really is time to move on. it's all about the desire to leave the place you have to be in, replace it for something better and maybe a new chance there. obviously.

General Commenthahah me too paul, but we'll hear it on the OC, then we can accuse hard fi of selling out, and then they'll get popular and ya, actually i do hope they play it on the OC, Hard Fi will become famous and sell millions of records, and they'll get famous. and ppl will see how good this band is

General CommentIt's about moving on from a location, but for me, hearing it for the first time today, when I sing it, I sing it with my ex-love in mind. We had a great love, and he moved on sooner than me. I am finally moving on too, and this song helps me feel it. Farewell old love, and in with the new part of my life. Hard-Fi's music is wonderfully powerful.

General CommentI'm listening to this song right now, kind of thinking of the irony.

This guy is singing about how he feels that he has to leave England and move on to somewhere better. He doesn't know where he should move on to, but there's a "red light blinking in the twilight tracing out a path right out of here and now."

The song means so much to me, because I'm sitting here feeling like I also have to move on, but I want to move on to England, heh (while he's dying to get out of there). And you just sit there and think about how you want to move on, but you also get nostalgic, thinking about all your good times. It's like you start to think to yourself, "man, there's never going to be good times like these anymore," so you just keep remembering them to comfort yourself.

I love this song. It's the perfect description of someone who's ready for the next part of his/her life.

General CommentI can't put this album down at the moment. This is one powerful song. His relationships either just ended or coming to the end and it seems like it was his decision, but he's a bit uncertain about the whole thing....He's seen good times in his home town (Feltham right?) but now his girls going or gone it seems deathly dull and quiet (a deafening silence: sums up a split with someone you loved perfectly)...The only way to escape the memories of the good times (this time last year) and the void in his life is to fly away some place and perhaps make a new life....How do I know all this? Cos this bloke is me but in a different town.

This song breaks my heart and will always remind me of trying to get over my girlfriend of 6 and a half years who has just moved out, but at the same time makes me feel positive too......Like the singer this was my decision and I can remember lots of good times. Its the finality of it all that hits you. Knowing life will never be the same and you won't be as one with that person ever again. Thats when you feel like flying away, but this time round I know its right we're apart.
