"Not Gonna Be Alone Tonight" as written by Max Collins, Tony Fagenson and Jon Siebels....
"Not Gonna Be Alone Tonight"

Saw her standing in the street in a hat made out of skin
Underneath a stormy sky like a Heroine,
Over me came the feeling that i'd never win
She's owning me like a dog to a God
I'm not gonna let you go this time,
Not gonna be alone tonight,
You can try to break me down or start a fight but I'm not
gonna let you win I'm more than glad to take one on the chin, babe,
As long as I've got you attention,
Save me
Stop sneaking pain to the cranium,
Blame me, Let me out from underneath your thumb
My senses are six and they need their fix from you
Underneath a stormy sky I'm
Holding you,
Over me comes the feeling you could come around
Baby, give me a chance and your hand and remove that crown.
Get the feeling you could come around

General CommentMy best guess is that it's an on-again off-again relationship.
Took me a while to get that idea, but I digress.
I think he's had enough of the breaking up and getting back together, and now he's saying "You're going to stay with me this time. I'm not letting you go."

General CommentI'm not sure if there's really a relationship there, yet, but there's definitely a lot of power struggle. At times he feels defeated- she's in charge, like a heroine, he's under her thumb, she's wearing the crown, he's just a dog and she's a God.
When he sees her under the stormy sky (does this allude to his emotions?), she's a heroine and owns him, but when he's holding her in his arms under the stormy sky, he's hopeful they could be equals and she could give up power. Yet he's still thinking about winning...he won't take no for an answer, despite all he's up against.
He's not gonna let her get to him, she can fight him or insult him (break him down), but he's not gonna let her have her way--he's addicted to her (his senses need their fix), and when he has her for a bit he's really happy. It sounds like she doesn't want to be with him?? or maybe she's got a mental illness or is somehow unhappy and trying to push him away? :( I guess the stormy sky would be her emotion then.
