"Hide and Seek" as written by and Gary Nicholson Al Anderson....
god only knows what i will do
now that i found out he's with you
laugh as my world turns grey
i still can't find the words to say
nobody loves you like i do

you play hide and seek
we play peek'a'boo
even i can see
nothing good happens to you

nobody knows that i love you
it's a secret i keep to myself
how i feel
sometimes i wish i wasn't visible
it's impossible
and nobody else is even real

we play hide and seek
we play peek'a'boo
even i can see
something strange happened to you

General Commentit's about indefinite love and finding finally out that the one you desire is with another one.
"you play hide and seek / we play peek'a'boo" indicates the uncertainity you encounter whilst trying to figure out the (bad) intentions of the person you desire.
Or it could be about still or again being in love with your ex, who is now together with another person you hate

General CommentDid anyone else get the bit of the Smiths' 'That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore' at the end of the song? I love the way the BJM incorporate their influences into their music. This song sounds like a mix between the Cure and the Smiths.

My OpinionListening to this song over and over again, I never even cared what the lyrics were - they're sung so beautiful. This is what the 90's sounded like, yet this song never made to the radio. Guess that's what happens when you don't play ball with the big white boys in black suits.

Morrissey ruminates about geniuses in his autobiography - how everyone just waits around for some genius to come along and state the obvious.

I've kept secrets to myself about loving someone.

Anton states the obvious like a genius.
