"Over and Under" as written by and John Thomas Falls Blake Carney Allison....
I know you'll be there
To see the tables turning
Wake up tomorrow
And watch the bridges burning

I can see
I can see it in your eyes
I can feel
I can feel it in my mind
I don't care
I don't care if you realize
What you see
What you see in my eyes

I'm over me being under you
I'm breaking free I'm breaking through
I've overcome all I'm underneath
I can finally stand
I can finally breathe

Remember when we
First had the thought of living
A perfect picture
But I did all the giving
Gave up my passions
To try to make you happy
The joke is over
And I'll do all the laughing

I can see
I can see it in your eyes
I can feel
I can feel it in my mind
I don't care
I don't care if you realize
What you see
What you see in my eyes

I'm over me being under you
I'm breaking free I'm breaking through
I've overcome all I'm underneath
I can finally stand
I can finally breathe

I can see
I can see it in your eyes
I can feel
I can feel it in my mind
I don't care
I don't care if you realize
What you see
What you see in my eyes

I'm over me being under you
I'm breaking free I'm breaking through
I've overcome all I'm underneath
I can finally stand
I can finally breathe

I'm over me being under you
I'm breaking free I'm breaking through
I've overcome all I'm underneath
I can finally stand
I can finally breathe

General CommentMy Boyfriend played this song for me, and I loved it. I don't usually like songs like these. But this one I love. I never heard of this Band before either.

General CommentThis song is dope, I heard it today for the first time on my serious radio and loved it right away. It's pretty catchy for a rock tune...I love it.

General CommentThis song is so awesome! I can't get it outta my head. It's stuck in there with "Through the Iris" by 10 Years and "Bleed All Over Me" by Wicked Wisdom."

General CommentThis band has a lot of potential..
I think the song meaning is breaking free and becoming liberated from one or more persons that are tying you down after you tried so hard to please them.

General CommentThis is like the best song I've ever heard. Definitely about overcoming being hurt by someone who doesnt appreciate you or takes you for granted.

I wanted to download this album off iTunes, but unfortunately I read that they were caught up in a major record label merger, and were dropped. As a result they're selling this record independent of a label.

Give these guys a little time and I think they're gonna be huge. They're currently all over satellite radio with this song and "You Make Me Sick". Can't get either one out of my head.

General CommentI thought this song was about him being in a relationship and his partner is controlling and his partner thinks shes superior in comparison to him.

I think that when he says
"I'm over me, been under you"
It means he's sick of feeling like he's inadequate and not being to amount up to his partners standards of perfection. He's sick of feeling as if though he's not good enough.

    When he says
"I can finally stand I can finally breathe"
He's meaning, I'm happy I've managed to get out of this relationship and now I can be independant and not have to worry about being controlled anymore.

It's like he sacrificed everything for a girl but she treated him like shit.
