"Count On Me" as written by Dallas Hendry Smith, Jeremy Hora, Daniel William Craig, David Charles Benedict and Chad Kroeger....
I know that life ain't always good to you
I've seen exactly what it put you through
Thrown you around and turned you upside down
And so you, you got to thinking there was no way out
You started sinking and it pulled you down
It may be tough, you've got to get back up because

You know that life ain't over yet
I'm here for you so don't forget
you can count on me cause I will carry you till you carry on

Anytime you need someone
somebody strong to lean on
well you can count on me to hold you till that healing is done

And every time you fall apart
you can hide here in my arms
and you can count on me to hold you till that feeling is gone

I wonder why nobody's waiting on you
I'd like to be the one to pull you through
Your darkest times, I'd love to be the light that finds you
I see a silver lining on your cloud
I'll pick you up whenever you fall down
Just take my hand and I will help you stand because

You know that life ain't over yet
I'm here for you so don't forget
you can count on me cause I will carry you till you carry on

Gone so you can live today
I seems so long till yesterday
Keep on counting on me to carry you till you carry on
Carry on

You know that life ain't over yet
I'm here for you so don't forget
you can count on me cause I will carry you till you carry on

Remember life ain't over yet
I'm here for you so don't forget
that you can count on me to hold you till that feeling is gone

General CommentI truly love this song... it's instantly become one of my favorite songs right now, and I've only known about it for a week. I can relate to this song in both ways... both from Dallas's perspective writing to his friend that he'll always be there, and from the friend's perspective. From that perspective, it's sort of akin to Metallica's "Fade to Black"... it can be a song of hope to those who are lost in this world with nowhere to turn. Just an amazing song... can't wait for the new CD!

General Commenti absolutely love this song..its a good song to listen to if youre down..instead of listening to that other emo stuff that just brings you even lower than you were to start with. to me this is everything a boyfriend should feel twards his girl...its like a i-know-life-sucks-sometimes-but-im-here-for-you-anyways kinda thing you know? anyways i love this song and i think its definitely a must-listen for everyone.

General CommentThis song might be about his best friend and how he will always be there. I may be an idiot, but I also think this song is about a girlfriend he loves as a friend and not somebody that he could spend the rest of his life with. After he broke up with her, she takes it a lot harder then he and, he says, "I'm here for you so don't forget". Also, "Because you know that life ain't over yet I'm here for you so don't forget." could be a way of saying that she will find someone and he will always be there for her.
