"The Fury Of Our Maker's Hand" as written by Bradley James Fafara, Jonathan David Miller and Michael Colin Spreitzer....
I'm just a human being A mistake made of feelings With a soul...wrapping in chains So fragile, full of pain No one knows why we are here Giving laughter and so many tears I will just do my best To keep my head above the rest

No one really knows Which way the wind blows

One day the tides will turn One day the fields will burn One day the seas will churn The fury of out maker's hand

Man is a mistake cast out Shunned and cast down Giving life through breathe of gods W With itself always at odds The pious the preacher The liar, the creature F rom rock to fire The dust of man

O my maker I need a savior

One day the tides will turn O ne day the fields will burn One day the seas will churn T he fury of our makers hand

The fury. The fury What will you do?

General CommentGoddamn, Dez is GOD for this shit. This entire fukin album is just amazing. The fury is about the mistake, the disguisting thing that is man. The cancer of the planet, slowly destroying everything we touch. Human nature is innately evil. At the primal instints, we are selfish. We can't help that, but Dez is telling us to place our goal to be above the common man, to try to control that nature, just to try to stay ahead of everyone else. But in the end, the fury of our makers hand (be it the planet, god, aliens, whatever) will eventully cure itself of the disease that is human. So what will you do?

General CommentMy favorite song on the CD. Absolutly Amazing in my opinion... The lyrics Mean so many things.. It's very hard to break it down. Just take it however you want to I will say, and enjoy it for all it's beauty. ;)

General CommentWhen I first heard it, I thought of natural disasters. And how people need a savior when there is a tidal wave, or a fire, or earthquake. How there must be some fury god had in creating these things.

Im wrong about this but just my two cents.

General CommentLook at the lyrics and the name of the fucking song and tell me you don't get it? We are mistakes, we will fuck up the earth and everything else and when we take it to far we WILL feel the fury of our makers hand.

My InterpretationTo me this song speaks of a God who is not loving or merciful. It speaks of a vengeful, just God, who has cast his judgment on humanity. I especially identify with the line "O my maker, I need a savior" where he cries out to a God whom he hopes will show him love, but only finds wrath.

General CommentI think he's saying that its not far til we see the Fury of God's hand. Meanwhile he knows were in a heap of trouble and begging for a mercy and a Saviour.

the end of the song. very good

"what will you do, what will you do"

seriously what will you do when God comes back and destroys the earth. According to the Bible, the rainbow signifies He wont destroy the earth with water. and Revelations predicts it will be fire to destroy human life. SO WHAT WILL YOU DO.... WHAT WILL YOU DO????
