"Where Are You?" as written by Gottfried Engels, Ramon Zenker and Nathalie De Borah....
Hey you,
Have you felt like this before?
You got style but ain't got soul
Are you happy now?
Are you happy tonight?
Or did punk rock get it right?
Is there no future in sight?
Oh is it different now? Is it different?

[Chorus]
Come on,
Come on, come on, come on
Where are you? Where are you?
I'm kicking and screaming
You're not listening
Where are you? Where are you?
Everything I've believed in has lied to me
But this could be the best day of my life

The best day of my life

Hey you,
Have you got everything you want?
Or do you want more than you got?
Is it different now? Is it different tonight?
Or did Jesus get it right?
Or is the devil behind the light?
Are you happy now? Are you happy?

[Chorus]

Oh sons and daughters,
Mothers and fathers,
Everyone's waiting for our luck to change.
Sons and daughters,
Mothers and fathers,
Everyone's waiting, waiting

'Cause this could be the best day
And this could be the best day
And this could be the best day, best day, best day

Come on,
Come on, come on, come on
Where are you? Where are you?
I'm kicking and screaming
You're not listening
Where are you? And where are you?
Everything I've believed in has lied to me

And this could be the best day
And this could be the best day
This could be the best day, best day, best day
And this could be the best day
And this could be the best day
And this could be the best day, best day, best day of your life.

General CommentGood song. Surprised these lyrics were posted this fast. I could understand some of the lines until you posted this.

The song really picks up after the first chorus.

General CommentI think that this song has to do with some kind of anticipation of a day that means a lot to someone. The person is eagerly awaiting for this day because it is going to make a big impact on their life, and change their luck. But I think who he is referring to when he is asking "where are you", is himself.. kind of like the day has arrived, but he isn't around because someone has upset him/lied to him.. but it could have a much more deeper meaning, which it probably does.. hmmm...

General CommentI can't wait to hear the rest of this album. Sounds like OLP is taking a step back from Gravity. I love that album, but the old school is amazing.

Did everyone seen Raine's hat at Live8? Awesome.

General CommentI dunno, I think the song is about someone who doesn't exactly know where they are in life, or what type of person they are. They're confused and don't have an identity yet.

General CommentI think this song is about religion and losing faith in what you believed in. You've got lines like, "Did Jesus get it right? Or is the Devil behind the light?" Plus, "Everything I believed in, had lied to me." This could be the best day, because you've got nothing to lose anymore.

General CommentThis is a good example of OLP's new sound. Ive heard some tracks of the new album, and It will be great! I love the way OLP switches styles with every album. Althouygh I miss the old stuff, Id get bored eventually. Its hard to extract meaning out of this song...Im pretty sure its about religion, just like many of Raine's songs. The meaning is very well disguised in the simplistic lyrics. The song is about finding spirituality outside of organized religion. I am wondering, Who is the "YOU" in "WHERE ARE YOU?" I hope this song goes well on the radio. Currently its doing great on the charts.
