"Vulture" as written by and Sabolick Meadows....
I need a miracle to conquer this endeavor
The imagery of song to portray the routine of life
Maybe I'm neurotic or just wrong in general
Maybe I should concede and put out the fire

Can you feel roar festering desire in my thoughts?
I can promise you one thing;
I will haunt you till you die
I can promise you one thing;

I will hunt you till you die
In absence of your favor I would rather choose death
I'd prefer it would be executed only by you
No legacy,

Fall short of understanding
Maybe I should concede and put out the fire
I want you to bleed me of my misery
Drained bled dry;

Hung up for all to see

    General CommentIt's "Can you feel this uproar? Festering desire in my thoughts."
    Anyways, this is definitely my favourite track off of the new album. Wicked song.

    General CommentA vulture is a bird of prey. It is a scavenger who feasts on the carcasses of dead animals. I think he is metaphorically saying to this person that before you die, you will see me feasting on you. I will be the last sight before you die. And I will always haunt because I will be constantly circling in the sky waiting for you to die.

    General CommentThat sounds alot like Randy Blythe from Lamb of God singing the lines,
    "I want you to bleed me of my misery
    Drained bled dry;
    Hung up for all to see"

    Does anyone know if that's him? Kick ass song, by the way.

    General CommentHoly shit it does sound like Randy but I don't it is. I've been all over the net and I'm pretty sure that that's just Rob's voice. They put threw on a filter or some effect to his voice or something.

    I've seen these guys live at Ozzfest last year. I mean this fucker can scream and he's crazy!

    So no, I don't think it is Blythe.

    General CommentRead the book Wolf Whistle by Lewis Nordan, especially where he talks about the vultures being named after former Mississippi politicians. That brings the song into context.
