"Faith In The Knife" as written by Brian Mcternan, Pouyan Sean Afkary, Peter Allen Costa, Chad Lane Crawford, Steven Christopher Kirby, Tyson Curtis Stevens and David John Wilson....
It's getting colder
Each and everyday
The nights get longer
I slowly fade

Find me some beauty
In this deceptive place
Before you know it
I'll be gone without a trace

Give me a reason to
Wake up and face the lie
I've been searching for
A way out of this life
How will I make it through
This long and bitter night?

(with no hope that I'll find a sign)
(with no hope that I'll find a sign)
With no hope that I'll find a sign

When things like breathing
Feel like a waste
It seems like leaving's
The only way

The past intentions
They never got me by
I can't escape this
It has overcome my mind [Repeat x2]

It has overcome my mind [Repeat x3]
Overcome my mind

Give me a reason to
Wake up and face the lie
I've been searching for
A way out of this life
How will I make it through
This long and bitter night?
(with no hope that I'll find a sign)
(no hope that I'll find a sign)
(no hope that I'll find a sign) [Repeat x2]

Nothing this good
Could last forever
(tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight)
I put all my faith in this knife
(tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight)
The lust feels like the tears fall from your eyes

I hope for the best
There's nothing left

Lets celebrate a romance in it all
(tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight)
I put all my faith in this knife
(goodnight, goodnight, goodnight, goodnight)
The lust feels like the tears fall from your eyes

General CommentThis song is one of the best, I can't believe scary kids aren't more popular. This band is pure amazing! anybody who hasn't check them out should do that asap. The guitar that kicks in after "When things like breathing Feel like a waste It seems like leaving's The only way" is sooo damn good!

General Commenti honestly think it's about suicide. he wants someone to give him a reason to go on to see another day. and everyday just gets worse

General CommentThis is such an awesome song. Def about suicide.
btw...how does becoming popular make bands considered to be a "sell out"? The whole point of making music is to get it out to as many people as possible.

General Commentby "sell out" i mean change they're entire style and comprimise they're artistic being. when they "sell out" it means theyre making cd's no longer for the sake of art, but for radio-play and money
