"All The Rage" as written by Gareth Davies, Matthew Davies, Ryan Richards, Kris Roberts and Darran Anthony Smith....
Why do we need this
Who was it that said
That great things come to great men
Well that fucker lied to us
There's nothing here but a wasteland,

And I can still see the graves of the dead
But it's useless
Most of us would rather sit
Than see this wound
That we have created
Let's not last the night
Let's not last the night

I'm sick and I'm tired of always being the good guy
I'm sick and I'm tired of always being the good guy

Senseless and I'm not sure why
I'm not going to pretend that I know all the answers
Or all of the questions
It's got to be good for something

So we'll chalk this and we'll mount the dead
On the fireplace above right above our guilded heads

I'm sick and I'm tired of always being the good guy
I'm sick and I'm tired of always being the good guy

Like sitting in the back seat (it's all the rage)
And boring me with your body (it's all the rage)
How many times can I say I'm sorry (it's all the rage)
And really mean it (and really mean it)
And really mean it (and really mean it)
Like sitting in the back seat (it's all the rage)
And boring me with your body (it's all the rage)
How many times can I say I'm sorry (it's all the rage)
And really mean it (and really mean it)
And really mean it (and really mean it)
And really mean it

Go

Why do we need this
Who was it that said
That great things come to great men
Well that fucker lied to us
There's nothing here but a wasteland
There's nothing here

General CommentMatt - "This song is about youth and casual sex in general, how kids are having sex younger and younger, and how that leads to awakenings at an earlier point and teenage preganancy."

General Commentonly a guess here but the part "I'm sick and i'm tired of always being the good guy" makes me think this song is about being afraid of being who you really are and just sticking to the rule (like FfaF have NOT done with Hours). Absolute gold song xX

General CommentThe beauty of music though, is although a band can write a song relating to one particular thing, people can relate to lines and a song in general in so many different ways

General CommentI agree with Ben ffaf. The way you can lift certain lines from songs and fit them into parts of your life is the best thing about music. This song is one of the best openers i've ever heard...it's the part where he sings "let's not last the night" and the drums just pound that gets me...I just love the way that sounds...it's simple but I fucking love it!

General Commenti saw them live a couple of weeks ago and as much as i was looking forward to it, it was shit. they're an amazing band and all three of their albums are brilliant but they played all the wrong songs and the sound was too loud, you could hardly hear matt. he started giving out about it after monsters, trying to make a joke out of it but you could tell he was well pissed off!! great song by the way, the riff at the start is great...

General CommentI saw them live too at the Manchester Academy. I would have liked it if they played longer. They played the same length set as their three support bands.

This song, Streetcar and Hospitality have the ones that have grown on me the most from the album at the moment. History and Sonny too. Maybe Alvarez.

General CommentThis song, Hospitality, and Drive have grown on me the most. Besides the lyrics, I love how some lines are sung and then Matt sings the line, its just great.
