"Nothing's Burning" as written by Fabrice Regis Robert Dumont, Stephan Armin Haeri, Christophe Hetier and Angela Mccluskey....
I did it today, I made myself say
And I take back my tears, my sight, my love
No more does your magic work
On my heart
No more will your words ever tear me apart

I know now for certain
Nothing's burning anymore

And I came strolling alone
Like your perfect girl in your perfect song
You'll forget who fixed you, in a little while

I know for certain
There's nothing burning anymore
I know now forever
Nothing's burning anymore

General CommentI'm surprised there are no comments for this song yet.

I believe the meaning of this song involves a betrayal within a relationship, which she is now finally coming to terms with. 'You'll forget who fixed you in a little while'. She probably felt bitter that her lover had already forgotten about her, and begun to see someone else. Maybe she felt that she 'fixed' him due to some problem he had that she helped him get rid of, or maybe it was that he slept around a lot, and once she was with him she was sure she'd fixed that, and they'd grow old together happily.

Maybe it's the realisation that he's forgetting about her that helps her feel like she's getting over him - but then of course, it could be denial, as the song sounds very emotionally painful. If she made herself say that she's taking back the love, then it's not coming easily.
