Sail far where their arrows cannot reach your heart
And stay there until I return
And I’ll meet you there
Run run to the cover that we found for ourselves
Stay there until I return
Because I’m coming home tonight

Run fast and far until you see the place
Where their arrows cannot reach your heart
And I’ll meet you there
And then we’ll grab our guns
And we’ll grab our hearts
And we’ll find the reason why
You and I cant sleep at night

Summer wasnt long enough
So we made extra time
To figure out... but you said
Our hearts weren’t strong enough
So we made extra time to feel again

Sail far where their arrows cannot reach your heart
Stay there until I return
Because I’m coming home tonight

Then we’ll grab our guns
And we’ll grab our hearts
And we’ll find the reason why
You and I can’t sleep
You and I can’t

Summer wasn’t long enough
So we made extra time to figure out, but you said
Our hearts weren’t strong enough
So we made extra time to feel again.

I’m making tracks back to New York City now
Making tracks back to New York City now
Making tracks back to New York City now
Because thats where the sun rises.

General Commentthis song reminds me of when i realized philadelphia was the wrong city for me.i felt trapped, made not a single friendship that i felt was right, and was having problems with this girl who i dated briefly.so i packed my things and headed back home.on the train ride home,i listened to this song and kept replaying the last verse over and over.i grew up in the shadow of new york city and have lived 20 minutes away for just about my entire life.the city is my backyard and its the only place where i feel completely calm.its the only place that i feel comfortable calling my home.
