"pretty, pretty STAR" as written by and William Patrick Corgan....
Wind a spire survey the hours I'm secrets, secrets
Spilling on the floor
Find a love a just because I need you, so much
Begging till I'm poor
Wanting so much more this hurts kid
Strangers find the eyes, just the same

Every time I start
Reaching out to find you
Loneliness abounds

Pretty, pretty STAR
Only you remind me
That only you can find me, in you
In all I choose

Wait remind my life is mine so many travelers
Carry past the word
Flowers Jake the sun afraid I'm blinking softly
Wishing on your name
Wondering who to blame next, low this
Crawling towards the door, just the same

Every time I start
Reaching out to find you
Loneliness abounds
Pretty, pretty STAR

Only you remind me
That only love can blind
Every time I start
Emptiness confounds me

Loneliness astounds me
Pretty, pretty STAR
It's me and you
In all I choose

Show me
There's no other

    General CommentBilly has returned :]

I haven't heard this song yet but by the lyrics it seems to be another typical love song... he misses someone that when he tries to get close to again is reminded how it is isn't meant to be. Maybe it's deeper than that.. hopefully. I'll post again later when I've actually listened to it enough.

General Commentdefinately....i couldn't really describe the song, but you did, starla, and you are so right. I've heard the song, and it is a love song...kinda. You hafta get used to it though, but its a nice sound.

General Commenti love it... it's a little hard to get used to this new sound from billy, but this is one of my favorites... i'm not religious, but the chorus reminds me of a hymn we used to sing in sunday school that i always thought was beautiful...

General CommentYes it may be another love song – but a pretty one it is, especially if you listen to it with the graceful music and Billy’s unique vocals - it makes it a real precious love song.
