"cloud" as written by and John Wolfington Eric Erlandson....
It's my vision
A total one
Encompassing
The only one
A world complete
That's all my own
Exactly as
As it should be, oh

[Chorus:]
I lost myself
I lost myself
You can't see how
Because I am just a cloudâ?¦a cloud.

Everything adds up to a truth
Maybe now, I can know me too
I have you now
Where you should be
You are mine now
But I lost me, I'm a cloud

[Chorus]

Resplendent dream it overtook me
I had no choice but build it
I made it all
I built it up
Up

[Chorus]

    General CommentNice interpretations....

How do you find someone who doesn't believe they deserve being found? I'm not speaking in a literal sence. I mean something's happened to effect the way this person feels about their entire life and everyone in it.

General CommentI almost feel like this person has been trying so hard to become something they're not. I can personally relate to this song very well. He may have even gotten the person he thought he wanted to be with but after everything he realizes he lost himself on the way.
    "I have you now
    Where you should be
    You are mine now
    But I lost me, I‘m a cloud"
He built up this whole world around himself becoming exactly what he thought he wanted to be then realized he wasn't even real anymore.

General CommentI think the poem is an allusion to the Wordsworth poem, with the line "I wandered lonely as a cloud", the sue the same metaphor of a cloud ot express the same idea of loneliness and apartness. I really like the bass and guitar touchs in the song too, one of Odyssey's better tracks.

General Commenti think this song is about how he built up his life and how people see him on a bunch of lies to befriend someone and hes trying to figure out who he really is:
    "I lost myself
    I lost myself",
"Everything adds up to a truth
Maybe now, I can know me too",
    "You are mine now
    But I lost me"
