"Millennium Of The Blind" as written by and Dave/friedman Mustaine....
At the start of time
Many centuries ago
Came the spawning of Christ
And the Antichrist
And darkness fell upon our people
And the children, they were born faceless
Without eyes they could not see
Born unto themselves
They lived and they died
In the Millennium of the Blind

General CommentThis songs about how we've been blind and haven't realized we are being controlled by the Government and illuminati and Dave is well knowledge about this! He is the illuminati! Our founding father came to escape the corrupt royalties od Britain but they followed! This is no longer the land of the free!! Its the land of the wealthy!!

Song ComparisonThe changes from the version in with remastered Youthanasia to Th1rt3en are interesting. The lyrics for the Youthanasia remaster version are just "From the start of time..." to "... in the Millennium of the Blind". I thought maybe these lyrics were referring to or quoting something else, but they seem to be completely original.

I imagine these lyrics come from a place of frustration of the direction things (a country or the world) are going and that no one seems to have eyes to see, so to speak. The narrator must be the new regime (new world order's leaders? Revelation's leaders?) with "sacrifice your leaders" referring to the old regime. It seems rooted in Revelations. In the song, the population is under such control that they may as well have no eyes and are thus the millennium of the blind. Are we the millennium of the blind or is the millennium of the blind still to come?
