"Break A Leg" as written by and Nicholas Edward/beck Thomas....
I used to wanna feel your summer sweat
Seeping right into my eyes
I used to wanna feel your body quake when I sink my teeth into your thighs

Where did you come from, where have you been?
I don't know that much about you,
But I don't think that I would like to anymore

The curtains rising just like the ante
Here we go now, break a leg
No, I literally mean it this time around
I'm sick of you leading me on
I'm sick of you stringing me along, on

I do hereby swear
A bounty on your heart
I hereby swear...

Every poison kiss that you blew
I deflected with an icy cold stare that I learned from you
What's a boy to do?

Where did you come from, where have you been?
I don't know that much about you,
But I don't think that I would like to anymore

The curtains rising just like the ante
Here we go now, break a leg
No, I literally mean it this time around
I'm sick of you leading me on
I'm sick of you stringing me along, on

I do hereby swear
A bounty on your heart
I hereby swear...

Oh-my-God, not even Hell
Could be hotter than you right now
Not even Hell could be hotter than you right now
Oh, not even Hell could be hotter than you right now
Oh, not even Hell could be hotter than you right now
Oh, not even Hell...

General CommentI take it as he got caught up in a girl over her beauty and once he got closer to her he wanted out but as soon as it's close to being done he looks at her and can't give it up.

General CommentGood song... it gets stuck in my head easily. Now that I think about it... I can kinda see how this was inspired by a Rob Thomas song... I think it's the way he says "I'm sick of you leading me on".

I love when he sings "I do hearby swear a bounty on your heart". I'm thinking that maybe that could be taken as either he wants to own her heart or he wants to destroy/conquer her heart.

Most of this song is bitter and angry, he gets so close to being rid of her but then.... "oh-my-God, not even hell could be hotter than you right now" (she seduces/enraptures him in the end...)
Anyways that's my take on this. Now it's probably gonna continue to be stuck in my head....

General CommentAt a show, Nick was explaining what this song was about. He said he didn't know how to really say it, and that what he was about to say might sound immature, and then he proceeded to say it was about "doing it". Great song, I love it. Yes, the ending is great!

General CommentYeah, it's about sex and how this girl uses it as a weapon. He declares a bounty on her heart because he thinks it's nearly impossible to capture.

I like this song because it's not the typical emo song. The guy is standing up for himself.
