"Mexico" as written by and Ronald Paul Morin....
records on the floor
giving back what's yours
remember us last weekend
dancing to the psychedellic verse
tried to tell myself
we could be alright
now it's me and my cigarettes and alcohol tonight

so screen all the phone calls
put the chain on the front door
and if you see her tell her i don't live here anymore

driving the neighbors crazy
with after hours fight
everything makes more sense
thank god we broke it off that night
holding on to you
is like playing with broken glass
i'm fighting off the memories
and i'm living in the past

postcards in the drawer
pictures on the wall
the sound of your footseps
echoes down the hall
postcards in the drawer
pictures on the wall
the sound of your footseps
echoes down the hall
it sounds like a heartbeat
it's like a heartbeat
it's like a heartbeat, baby
and it's beating at me

so screen all the phone calls
put the chain on the front door
and if you see her tell her i don't live here anymore
so pull all the shades down
turn off the radio
and if you see her tell her i moved down to mexico

General Commenti'm sad no ones commented on this song I really like this song by them, it has a video too. It's pretty obvious what happened there's no secret message, well as far as i know. but it looks like he broke up with a girl who he liked a lot because she did something wrong. i say he broke up with her because it says "screen all the phone calls, and if you see her tell her i don't live her anymore" and i know when i broke up with my girlfriend i didn't want to talk to her but she wanted to talk to me.

General Commentreading over it he actually says "thank god WE broke it off that night" so maybe it was mutual.
