Finding myself in a place I've never been
Where I don't know myself or anyone else
I can dream about the past or i can just let it go
I lost track of time five days ago
What is it about you that makes me want to stay?
Is it all the love or is it just the pain?

[Chorus]
Don't leave me now, we've come too far
Just to set our eyes on a new star.
I'll ride on clouds, 'til you come down
Just promise me you'll always leave the ground.

In the drivers seat is my self-esteem
Where I know that the heart should be.
I'm cleaning off these shelves to show you how I've changed.
And if all goes well tonight will call for rain.
I'm moving pass the past at the slowest of speeds
Hoping that our loves exceeds our insecurities.

Finding myself, finding myself, finding myself.
I'm finding myself, finding myself, find yourself.

I'm running in circles, it's you I'm thinking of
And if you don't want to talk then this isn't love.
A new destination, I'll say my goodbyes
With my back turned to you at least I know we tried.

I think I understand what he is trying to get across and personally i love this song. Of course he loves this girl and i believe he knows he needs to move on, but doesn't want to. Whenever he thinks of this girl that has changed his life, he knows that any "new star" just wouldn't be the same. So he is moving "at the slowest of speeds," [sort of lingering] to see if either one of them will try to rebuild what they have recently lost. Hoping that one of them will.
But everytime he thinks of her leaving, he knows it wasn't as he had thought it was. Now, he is going in circles trying to make sence of what happened to them together, "finding himself"
In the end he needs someone to tell him its over, so if she doesn't want to talk, "then this isn't love." And he accepts that. Yet he will always think of her.

Holiday

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
