"Empty Feat" as written by Paul Gamble Beresford, Ross Bradbury Harley, Adam Hiles, William Justin Lockey and Paul John Mullen....
Gravity pulls me down
but I wish it was the only thing
it was never meant to be this way
I'm sure you don't forget a thing

and I almost, I almost, I almost stood out
just a face in the crowd

can I pretend that I was on the run
and everyone was everywhere
fall down
but I can't feel the earth
I'm standing still

start all over
start all over
start all over

can I pretend that I was on the run
and everyone was everywhere
fall down
but I can't feel the earth
I'm standing still

yet empty feat were all that came
yet empty feat were all that came
weren't the shadows thin the last time
I could fall illuminate mine
is the light walk in the opening act fails

can I pretend that I was on the run
and everyone was everywhere
fall down
can I pretend that I was on the run
and everyone was everywhere

General CommentI love this song! Not sure what it means though. To me it seems to be about being on the verge of doing something great, "I almost stood out" but all that you actually acheive is a meaningless "empty feat"

General CommentNot one of their best IMO, but catchy bass halfway through.
