"Three Words" as written by and Jeremy Greenspan....
Shine in every light
More than for a day
You stayed the same, wild
And were that way
Don't you want me a whole man?
You can't pretend that you're not sentimental too
I know
I know you

Say what you will
And call me what you want
But those years you spent away
How I wish you stayed
But it's still too little too
When you start playing like you're everybody's fool
'Cause I know you, yeah

Are you still awake?
We can keep things the same
In time things fade
But why can't I really wait?
Don't you want me here so
I can offer you three words so true?
Like I know you

General Commentthree words usually mean "I love you"... but I think "I know you" is much better. people can easily toss around the word love, but to actually 'know' someone is different.

it's easy to say a song that uses "you" is about romance, but this could easily be applied to a friend,
