"Panic Attack" as written by Ian Kevin Curtis, Peter Hook, Stephen Paul David Morris, Bernard Sumner, Richard Leigh File, James Lavelle, Antony Genn and Richard Joseph Pinhas....
If you want to die
Go on and commit suicide
You want to live I know
You gotta get em by the throat
If you want to die
Go on, keep committing suicide
You want to live don't you?
Well I do too

But you don't know, don't know she cares
If you say so, but it's not quite fair

So anyway, anyway she'll leave me alone
So anyway, you said so yourself so no

You two decide
Choose when if you want to stay alive
Keep yourself in my eye
Don't say that you cannot see inside

You want to die
Go on commit suicide
You want to live don't you?
Well I do too

But you don't know,and I don't know she cares
And she said so, but she's not quite there

I said anyway, anyway you leave me alone
Anyway you said so yourself so no

General CommentI agree with everyone so far, these lads will go far I also saw these guys at the little civic in wolverhampton. I hope these guys get big they deserve to and I could say that I saw them small time aswell. **looks at badly placed stolen paddingtons poster**

As for the song meaning its pretty easy to understand somebody is contemplating to end their lives and the is somebody who is assertivley to say the least giving them a dose of reality. Thats about the closest I can get to the meaning maybe somebody esle can do better.

I really do hate people that can't handle life for no appearent reason and become suicidal. Placing no value in their lives for no given reason is stupid and no life is worth wasting so if you comptemplating suicide get help first. Then if you still think you want to die as the song gos "Go on and commit suicide"

General CommentSimplex, you sir are an idiot. You hate suicidal people? Damn thats low, i mean do you kick crippled people too? The song is about Tom having a severe depressive episode and contemplating suicide, he talks to himself in his head and assesses his life, in particular a relationship he is unsure about "I don't know she cares."

Look, depression is a wide reaching and serious disorder and telling people that they have no apparent reason for feeling shitty and that you hate them doesn't really help. Tom Atkin himself suffered from clinical depression while he wrote this album and this is exactly what the song is about; taking stock of ones life.

General CommentSimplex i hope you've grown up in the past few years. Any half intelligent person would know that depression is an illness you don't get it by choice. Amazing song though
