"The Channel" as written by Wesley Louden Borland, William Frederick Durst, John Everett Otto and Samuel Robert Rivers....
Check one

I don't like the radio, I don't like TV
They're selling so much shit these days
And this shit is not who I wanna be
I don't like officials
Using rank to pretend they're not crooks
I don't like the tricks played on kids
In those shitty teen metal books

I don't like my heroes
To kill themselves with the drugs
I don't think success
Can fill you up when you need love
I don't like the whores
That try to fuck you for your game
I don't like my childhood
And do not need somebody else to blame

This is the channel I'm dialed into
I already know you are dialed in too
This is the channel I'm dialed into
And I already know you are dialed in too
I already know you are dialed in too

Come on
I don't like this music, I don't like this band
I like what we're about
And mock what you cannot understand
I don't like being paranoid
I don't like that I'm breeding again
But I accept all these cards I've been dealt
And do not be your motherfucking friend

This is the channel I'm dialed into
I already know you are dialed in too
This is the channel I'm dialed into
And I already know you are dialed in too
I already know you are dialed in too
I already know you are dialed in too

Who gives a fuck about what I like
Who gives a fuck about who listens
As long as I'm here
As long as you know you can keep me here
For whenever you get lost
Or you need an excuse to cover up your intentions

You hate that I express how I'm feeling
You hate that you relate to this shit
You hate that I'm a tick a motherfucking tick
You're finding hard to forget

This is the channel I'm dialed into
I already know you are dialed in too
This is the channel I'm dialed into
And I already know you are dialed in too
I already know you are dialed in too
I already know you are dialed in too

General CommentConsumerism, television, and all that shit sucks big time. And fred found that out when he went up the social ladder and saw it all from a birds eye view.

General Commentpretty obvious what this song is about........ Fred dislikes all the fucking corny ass metalcore/emo/screamo/pop-punk shit that everyone seems to bust a nut over nowadays, and he's just gonna keep it real and stay true to himself, not conforming to today's standards. right on, brother.

General CommentThis is by far Bizkits best song. People can't appreciate the effort Limp Bizkit made with this EP. They didn't want to conform to musics/metals standards; already mentioned granted but they didn't wanna go down the same old route..Make Album that appeals to majority, Big advertising campaign, interviews, videos and all that bollocks. Fred was trying to right alot of wrongs he made with the band back in it's so called heyday & get back to hardcore music like Three Dollar Bill.

It was a great sign of how he had matured and how he wanted to change his & the bands image, the millions that hated him seemed more pissed off at this because they could see that he was making a effort and they didn't like it so instead of praising the criticized for the change in directioon, despite slagging that old direction off constantly.

This was destined to fail no matter what, but the people who bought and enjoyed this appreciate the effort and maturity it entailed & if Limp bring something out back like the Choccy Starfish days I'd be extremely pissed off!

My Interpretationa motherfucking tic you're finding hard to forget!
Fucking psychosis love bullshit. All the songs from this album should be listened to. To understand a single one without knowing the other songs would be kind of impossible.
if your not into this channel good for you, keep it that way.
