"The Surrender" as written by and William Frederick Durst....
Don't label me a monster
I'm a monster just like you
Don't label me a victim
'Cause I'm a victim just like you
I'm a victim just like you

When your heart aches
You can know that mine aches too
And when you run away
I run away like you
I run away like you, I do

But you know there's a part of me that will always let you down
And you know there's a part of me that will always make you cry
And you know there's a part of me that just won't let you die
Inside 'cause I surrender

I surrender into you, I do
Keep surrendering into you, I do, I do
I surrender just for you, for yes

General CommentIt's about a fucked up relationship...
she thinks she's the "victim", and the he's a "monster"... but actually *both* of them are fucked up and suffering:
    "And when your heart aches
You know that mine aches too"

"I surrender into you" means he's too tired to do something about it, probably tired of being the one who tries to solve the problems... so he "surrenders" and gives her the opportunity to take him as he is or just leave, the opportunity to make the decision herself.

    been there myself...

    a great song...

General CommentThe song is about surrending to all the bullshit and criticism that the world has thrown at him. This album has sold over 1,000 000 copies worldwide which means that there are plenty of ppl who love limp and fred, and in the end im sure he will die happy, while all the haters are poor, with no success, working jobs they hate, thinking that they know about music even though they dont even have a band or a cd.
