"Wrecking Hotel Rooms" as written by Mark Hoppus and Michael Arthur Herrera....
I wrecked your hotel room
I crashed up the car
Slept in the gutter
I'm outside your door

Saw you through the key hole
Down on your knees
There's really no reason to call the police

Do you hold the phone when you're alone
Imagine that it rings then hold it to your ear
And wish that I was there to sing you off to sleep
Be with you in your dreams for the days I will be gone
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song

I know you don't know me
'Cause we've never met
I'm not really crazy
So don't get upset

I've got all these problems
None with solutions
Been in and out of some nice institutions

Do you hold the phone when you're alone
Imagine that it rings then hold it to your ear
And wish that I was there to sing you off to sleep
Be with you in your dreams for the days I will be gone
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song

Do you hold the phone when you're alone
Imagine that it rings then hold it to your ear
And wish that I was there to sing you off to sleep
Be with you in your dreams for the days I will be gone
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song
I'll be there in your dreams and in this song

General CommentI think it's about a guy who is in love with a hooker that he's never met. Saw you through the keyhole down on your knees! Then, there's really no reason to call the police on her for prostitution.
I love mxpx and blink-182 and midtown and sum 41 but good charlotte sucks along with green day!

General CommentHmm... gnoz05, she could've been down on her knees praying. also, people usually call the police on stalkers, which he kinda does sound like a stalker.

anyway, I love the chorus in this track. it's just too great! :)

General CommentAt the beginning of the song it sounds like maybe he saw the girl he likes/that he's stalking (not a hooker), with another guy, so he got drunk, ransacked a hotel room, crashed a car, and passed out...
Then he has wishful thinking that she likes him, and she wants him to call her, but then you find out that they have never actually met...
but none the less, i like the song

I think that part actually infers that the man has something wrong with him psychologically, and he is crazy.
This may be getting a bit ahead of it, but you could then get to the conclusion from the crazy part, that the man is a stalker.

General Commentthe fact that this song is written from the point of veiw of a stalker is a given - this is a story, with his fantasys, and reality getting mixed up in the song.

General CommentThis song really reminds me of The Phantom of The Opera. I mean there's the whole stalker thing (the Phantom is definitely a stalker) but you still really feel sorry for the guy. And when he says "sing you off to sleep" it like when the Phantom is singing Christine to sleep.

    General Commentgnoz05.

it may be three years overdue, but better late than never.

mxpx, blink-182, sum 41 and midtown would not exist without green day. it's fine if you don't like them, but just know that.
