I spend more time trying to breathe
I keep my eyes closed
You're too far away from me
You're so far away from me

I spend more time tracing your face
Wearing away my fingerprints
You're so far away

We could stay up forever
No one sleeps till my voice finds your ears
Your last kiss was something more like shrapnel
Tearing through me

I spend more time speaking through wires
Living in circuits
You're so far away

We could stay up forever
No one sleeps till my voice finds your ears
Your last kiss was something more like shrapnel
Tearing through me
Tearing through me
(Tearing through me)
Tearing through me
(Tearing through me)
Tearing through me
(Tearing through me)

General Commentin the first line "I'm" should be "I" and "breath" should be "breathe"

also "Your lips kiss, what's, something more like travel." should be "Your last kiss was something more like shrapnel" :)

It seems like it's about a long distance relationship... all he has are phone calls and the remembrance of their parting kiss.

    General CommentWow.

My boyfriend sent this one to me.

    We live 600 miles apart.

We can't go to sleep without saying "I love you" on the phone each night.

His last kiss was like shrapnel indeed.
I can't wait to have that feeling again. :]

[by the way, in case you were wondering, shrapnel is like the deadly shells of many mini bombs that explode on impact. They were used mainly in world war two and stuff.]

-All he thinks about is her, he needs her near him.

"I spend more time tracin' your face,
    Wearing away my fingerprints."
-All he has is a photo of her that he cant keep his eyes off..

    "We could stay up forever,
No one sleeps til my voice finds your ears."
-He can't sleep until he talks to her..

"Your last kiss was something more like shrapnel,
    Tearing through me..."
-Hard to explain but seriously if u have had a kiss that meant so much to you, you will understand..

    "I spend more time
    Speaking through wires
    Living in circuits
    You're so far away.."
-He talks to her on the phone alot because she is gone, he literally lives with it by his side because its the only thing that connects to her..

Sorry if it sounds crap or dont make nay sense.. oh well- I tried!

    PS/ Fix the lyrics!!

General CommentAnother great song by a brilliant band. Jamison Parker. ........ Its about being apart from the one you love and spending timeless hours thinking about him/her, and reminiscing the last kiss that tore through you,.. just like shrapnel. cheers to Jamison and Parker.

    - I always thought that this meant the girl kissed him, but there was no love. Like the relationship has lost its spark and they're slowly falling out of love, and the guy realizes this and is devasted. Hence the shrapnel tearing through him.
