"Like I Do" as written by Edward Joel Kowalczyk, Chad David Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer and Chad Alan Gracey....
Darlin' I feel like a god when I am next to you.
Something sacred, someone straight and true.
Tell me do you feel the same way too?

Darlin' your face is radiant with the light of love.
The kind that's sent straight down from up above. And now you're all I'm thinking of.

Thinkin' of
Thinkin' of

Don't you give me loving like a revelation
Don't you make me burn and make me feel the danger
Salutations to the maker in my finest hour
Goddess, Queen, mother, sister, lover don't you ever leave.

Darlin' I feel like a god when I am next to you.
Something worth the worship of this honest fool.
Tell me do you feel the same way too?
Like I do
Like I do
Like I do

General CommentThis has got to be my Favourite song, I listened to it for about 7 hours a day, 3 days in a row.

I think this song is about how God loves everyone, and when your next to him (in Heaven) that you have earned your spot and the right to feel like you are a God too.

General CommentI don't think this is about God in the way the above person mentioned. I think it's about love with another person, in this case, a man's love for a woman. EK feels like a god in relation to his wife. Alot of Christians think we will have a similar relationship to God when we get to heaven. And that what we experience with women is just a showcase for what we will experience in heaven.

General CommentI am a Christian, but I don't think this song has anything to do with God or heaven. It appears to me to be a simple love song...and an ossum one at that. Ed is Buddhist...so unlike most people seem to think, he doesn't write too much about God because I ditched the church a long time ago (hence Selling the Drama was written)...

General CommentWell....I don't know what he is anymore, but I think he leans towards Buddhism. He ditched the church in high school. Then he went on to Buddhism, but in recent interviews I've heard him talking about love, God, Christ, and Buddha......so, yeah....Ed's weird....but cool.

General CommentEd is a subcriber to the Integral philosophy. Check out Ken Wilber's books to learn more about that.
