"Keep the Dream Alive" as written by and Andrew Piran Bell....
Four Seasons, seconds, flicker, and flash, I'm alone.
A lonely scream provides the scene - it's no hope.
Every night I hear you scream, but you don't say what you mean.
This was my dream, but now my dream has flown.

I'm at the crossroads, waiting for a sign.
My life is standing still, but I'm still alive.
Every night I think I know,
In the morning where did it go?
The answers disappear when I open my eyes.

I'm a stranger to this place, where real life and dreams collide.
And even though I fall from grace, I will keep the dream alive.
I will keep the dream alive.

Four Seasons, seconds, flicker, and flash, I'm alone.
A lonely scream provides the scene - it's no hope.
Every night I hear you scream, but you don't say what you mean.
This was my dream, but now my dream has flown.

I'm a stranger to this place, where real life and dreams collide.
And even though I fall from grace, I will keep the dream alive.
I'm a stranger to this place, where real life and dreams collide.
And even though I fall from grace, I will keep the dream alive.

General CommentThis is a great tune of DBTT, I 've always perceived that the lyrics had a simple meaning of going through troubled times but at the same time keeping some faith and keeping the dream alive in which hopefuly one day thing will turn out right. I listen to this quite alot especially when things don't go right for me and it acts as a release, with the tune making me feel better than I did before. Andy Bell's lyrics should feature more on the next Oasis albums cos from this he's righting some top lyrics which people can easily relate to.

General CommentDefinitely a John Lennon memorial-esque song. Great song cause its by Oasis but I don't love it. I don't think it follows "Part of the queue" well.

    General Commentgreat great song...

hehe does anyone else think that the
'Every night I hear you scream
But you don’t say what you mean'
bit is referring to women faking orgasms?

    ......probably not

General CommentTo me this song is about wanting something or someone and the only time you can actually be with them is when you are dreaming and when you wake up in the morning you realize you are not with them but you never give up trying to be with them...keeping the dream alive. And the no stranger to this place bit makes me think that this person has been going through this for quite some time that they are almost used to it but not willing to accept that things may be different someday.
