What are you hoping for

Don't ask me why
You are the first thing
On my mind

Love, day after tomorrow
I wish you knew
Love, day after tomorrow
I need you back

You never looked at me this way

涙があふれてく don't ask me why
I can't see the world
Walking through

Love, day after tomorrow
I wish you knew
Love, day after tomorrow
I need you back

言える oh stay with me

Love, day after tomorrow
I wish you knew
I'm still in love
But you're gone
And now my heart is breaking
Love, day after tomorrow
I need you back
My hearts is waiting
For your love
L.o.v.e one more day

Love, day after tomorrow
I wish you knew
I'm still in love
But you're gone
And now my heart is breaking
Love, day after tomorrow
I need you back
My hearts is waiting
For your love

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
