"god knows" as written by Bjorn Hans-erik Dixgard and Gustaf Noren....
Well I turned left just like you told me to
I get excited by the moves you do
I’m on a mission and I’m gonna get away

Well I saw her standing all colored in red
I felt the blues just by the things she said
I want my mission so I can escape today

God knows, I ain’t sleeping but I want my line
God knows, I ain’t happy so I want it bad tonight
Oh brother can you help me out
God knows, I’ve got nothing so accept my time
God knows, it ain’t easy to behave in this spotlight Oh brother can you help me out…

Well I turned the page from number three to four You had nothing on you by my bedroom door
You had your mission now I’m gonna get away

When this is over and our souls are saved
When I am buried when I’ve got my own cave
I’ve done my mission so I won’t be here today

God knows, I ain’t sleeping

I turned right just like I thought you would
I got excited like you said I would
I’m on a mission and I’m getting blown away
Well I saw her standing all colored in red
I felt the blues just by the things she said
I want my mission so I can escape today

God knows, I ain’t sleeping
All right

General Commentit is about how the band members can relay on each other. they said that in an interview. not every goddamn song is about drugs

General CommentThis song kicks some ass. Band name isn't stereotypical of the sound.
Not exactly sure what's going on here... something about girls.

General CommentThere's some stuff about a girl in there but I think the chorus is about cocaine. The chorus could be about sex but the "i want my line" part seems like he's talkin' about coke.

General CommentI agree with you, Monkeyraper3000, I had the same thoughts about the chorus.
    Take these lines, too:
"God knows - I ain’t happy so I want it bad tonight"
"God knows - I’ve got nothing so accept my time"

It is definetely about an addiction, to coke or to sex. The last line I mentioned could be about both cause it sounds a bit like offering Prostitution.

General CommentThe chorus is partly about cocaine but most of it is about how the band members rely on each other, and most of it comes from the incident where Björn hit that girl on Swedish radio.

General CommentI thought that "Morning paper dirt" was about the incident with Björn and that girl. And to everyone that hasn't heard about this, Björn isn't some women abuser. The whole thing was a bit of a misunderstanding, I think. They had a fall out and he got the blame because he's male. But he said he was sorry and everything is okay now. This was back in 2003. Gustaf wrote this song to Björn.

General CommentI just wonder if a little bit of this song is about that crazy night in Amsterdam, as told in the song Amsterdam. It sounds like a night with a hooker, if you ask me.
