Went out last night when the streets were empty
(no cars, no accidents)
Let go the wheel close my eyes
How could I know there was nothing out there?
(no cars, no accidents)
How could you know what was on my mind if I was not thinking?
What if we end up in collision?
(no cars, no accidents)
What if there's no end?

We're blessed, not lucky now

We may burn up upon re-entry
(no stars, no precedents)
we may float through empty skies
How could you know there was nothing out there?
(no stars, no precedents)
How could I know what was on your mind if you were not dreaming too?
What if we end in decision?
(no stars, no precedents)
What if there's no end?

We're blessed, not lucky now...

General CommentI meant to say wandering not wondering, just to fix that.

My InterpretationIn my opinion, this is a beautiful song. I think it is a wondering conversation about the afterlife or lack of or what happens once we are done here on earth. Hard to really know what this is saying, I'd love to hear others thoughts.
