Careless whispers
Drifting by your ears
Trust in no one
Silence broken by careless whispers

You've got a lot to say
But I'm not listening
And I've got a lot to say
But your ears are not hearing

Back and forth
How much time can we waste?
Yeah, hold your tongue and swallow hard
How much more can we take?

So who are you?
Who am I?
Who are you?
What have we become?

Careless whispers
Drifting by your ears
Trust in no one
Silence broken by careless whispers

You've got a lot to learn
So are you listening now
Now, now, now...
Because the word is out
It's written on everyone's face
Yeah, hold your tongue and swallow hard
So how does the truth taste?
Weren't you listening?

Trust in no one
No one

General CommentSince there were no posts I figured I'd give it a try though I'm probably wrong, I think it might be a relationship falling apart. he's saying what have we become? What happened to that fun loving couple we once were and they don't listen or care about each other and no there's no trust left cause of the bad relationship. When he says how much time can we take that's also reminding me of those relationships that are long over but never seem to end and they keep holding in and hoping the passion returns

I think I'm waay off but just my 2cents!
