I remember the time
all through the night
trying not to close my eyes again
Spending many hours
in a stolen car
trying not to pull over and cry

My eyes open
I just want to die
Kill me with your words
Kill me one last time
Cut out my heart
and throw it on the floor,
for everyone to see

Remember you said,
'Kiss me sweetheart,
before you go again.'
Don't say
'It's over this time.'

She bleeding on the inside
for me to call again
Waiting for her just to say goodbye
just one last time
Bleeding on the inside

Am I supposed to say
anything at all
to make you want me back
If I had three wishes
I'd wish them all on you
I'd wish you away
from me

Am I supposed to say
anything at all
She's bleeding on the inside
for me to call on again
Waiting for her just to say goodbye

General CommentWell i can't believe i am first to comment on this which is totally awesome so i better make it good...I think that this song is about a relationship where they break up and go back out constantly and she broke up with him this time and she is waiting for him to call but he's not going to this time, "She's bleeding on the inside
for me to call on again " thats wat makes me think it. "Waiting for her just to say goodbye" gives me the impression they break up a lot n she does the breakin up mostly. i think this is a really sad song. b/c so many relationships r really like this.

General Commentthe lyrics might not be right, so correct me if they aren't. I'm terrible at doing lyrics by ear, but I couldn't believe these weren't up. Such a good song - one of my favorite HH songs.

I definitely think it's about breaking up, getting together, breaking up again, and then getting back together. He's getting confused and sick of the cycle, because eachtime it ends up hurting them both.

General Commenti used to think this was about a guy stealing a car after his girlfriend died just to get away but the lyrics seem to suggest that they broke up and her new boyfriend got her into stealing stuff and now she's in jail
    "bleeding on the inside,
    for me to call again"
she's in jail and coz u cant call people when you're in jail she's dying for him to call her coz she realises just how bad her new boyfriend is and how much she wants him back
or maybe her and her new boyfriend steal a car and he crashed it and now the old boyfriend (who's singing the song) is saying like 'i want u back, y did u have to do that? you'd still be alive if you'd stayed with me' etc
just my thoughts but the lyrics reali suggest that either she's dead or she's dying emotionally without him and going through depression maybe?

General Commenti just want to alert everyone to the fact that this is NOT a hawthorne heights song. Its actually by a band called A Day in the Life. they sound a lot like HH but they arent.
