Tell me all the dreams
that you have let slip
right through your hands
Do you feel lost inside
of someone else's life?

And we're not gonna live forever
Can you tell me if it's now or never?
I'm not gonna make up your mind
I don't wanna live without you
And I don't wanna live a lie
We'll never know 'til we try
Yeah, we'll never know 'til we try

Failure is the only way to learn
'til you've come undone
The rest will never find out
what they might have been

And we're not gonna live forever
Can you tell me if it's now or never?
I'm not gonna make up your mind
I don't wanna live without you
And I don't wanna live a lie
We'll never know 'til we try
Yeah, we'll never know 'til we try

So tell me some time,
just where did we go wrong?

And we're not gonna live forever
Can you tell me, is it now or never?
I'm not gonna make up your mind
I don't wanna live without you
And I don't wanna live a lie
We'll never know 'til we try
Yeah, we'll never know 'til we try

i think this song is about a person who fell in love with his best friend. he doesn't want to lose her("I don't wanna live without you") because she is such a huge part of his life, but at the same time he doesn't "wanna live a lie" and pretend that he's not in love with her anymore. he's trying to tell her how he feels, and trying to convince her that she should take a chance on him because they'll never know if it works until they try

surprised nobody has commented on this song. I think what this song is about is quite obvious, it's about asking for a chance to be with someone because you'll never know unless the two of you try

I think this song is about a man who's having an affair with a married woman. The woman wants to leave her marriage because she feels "lost inside of someone else's life". Maybe she gave up on her own dreams for her husband's. Her boyfriend is giving her an ultimatum in this song.

"So tell me some time, just where did we go wrong?" I think its about a relationship that was really good that went wrong. And they are too scared to try again. And u feel lost without the other person. And the answer is easy, and its duifficult.. And she's impatient, wants everythin to be better overnight.. well.. i guess its a song i relate to.. :(

This song continues the trend of musically dramatic Track 9's (Breathing, Take Me Away) for Lifehouse.

I think it's just an earnest way to ask if they can be together. The verses definitely feel like filler.

I remember an interview with Jason that someone said where he said the song was written around the time their record label (Dreamworks) was falling through and they didn't know what was gonna happen to Lifehouse. Eventually, Serge left and Rick and Jason went their ways, ending Lifehouse. But then Jason decided to show Rick some demo's and they gotta deal with Geffen. So I guess everything worked out for them, seeing as their new CD is out.

i think its about a couple who have tried to be together but it just hasnt worked out, and later on they realize that they both still love eachother, but they still arent sure if it'll work!

This song is saying don't be afraid to take risks. You only get one life. Live like you were dying. Take a chance. You'll never know till you try. =)

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
