I won't take my time coming over, I'm aware its late but its a lovely night, and I'm
feeling awful selfish. So inhale this with me. My stupid mouth goes on and on again.
You buy the drinks I'll let you watch me lose it all. What if we were both a little older,
your pool feels great and all I'm just scared of tryin. I'm afraid to fight the fight I
fought and be alright, cause I was never alright, and I will never be alright, sorry, get
out. Don't blame me, you were the last one talking. I'll be fine. As I sit across from you
and watch it all come down. I should have never said I loved you.

General CommentI love this song so much.
On the meanings part of their site it says this:
"A song for the idiots who cannot express self control. Idiots like myself. I wrote this song in a van with no guitar which was weird. Just lyrics. Its all one real big breath and one big idea. Venting about the way I had reacted. Going over her house late at night looking for something. Anything. Attention to be honest. Being an attention whore. This song is not what it seems. There is beauty in going over a girl's house late at night, having her answer the door in something so pretty and basic its what you needed to see all day long. Just some old jeans and a sweatshirt with her hair pulled back. She listens to you while you spend hours contradicting yourself, and confusing her and yourself. You're sick of hearing yourself talk and it really seems like the verge of insanity. NOTHING you say makes
sense to yourself, and you just sit in awe of how fucked up and confused you really are. She and I sit by her pool at the end of a summer, chain smoking and drinking and smacking bugs off our arms. I dont mean hardly anything I say, and I am no longer in tune with my emotions. Its pretty much the song I hear in my head right when I'm about to go crazy."
