Are you a Scissor Sister? Scissor Sister Scissor Sister
Are you a Scissor Sister? Scissor Sister Scissor Sister
Scissor Sister Scissor Sister Scissor Sister Scissor Sister

Scissor Sister can you work it on out?
Scissor Sister can you work it on out?
Scissor Sister can you work it on out?
Scissor Sister can you work it on out?

Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Your legs they look like sticks electrobix yeah

You gotta move your body
Ooh you wanna be a hottie
You better like to party
You gotta pump that body

You gotta move your body
Ooh you wanna be a hottie
You better like to party
You gotta pump that body

I was just a boy with my lunch in a bag
The other little boys made me feel like a fag
I didn't like sports, didn't play outside
A lisp and a limp wrist, too much to hide

I always felt trapped inside
I always felt trapped inside

You're gonna feel high high high
But you gotta be a guy guy guy

You're gonna feel high high high
But you gotta be a guy guy guy

I started working out at the YMCA
I couldn't lift the weights and I felt like a gay
It didn't take long just to understand
That I was growin' up big like a Superman

I swear I'm doin' all I can
I swear I'm doin' all I can

You're gonna feel high high high
But you gotta be a guy guy guy

You're gonna feel high high high
But you gotta be a guy guy guy

Cuz' there ain't no woman or man or tranny or thing
That's gonna love you like they should

You gotta move your body
Ooh you wanna be a hottie
You better like to party
You gotta pump that body

You gotta move your body
Ooh you wanna be a hottie
You better like to party
You gotta pump that body

I'm goin' to the gym almost five times a week
I've gained lots of weight and I look like a freak
I get real bored when I sit at home
I just a-wanna watch the tube and a-stroke my bone

I've never felt so alone
I've never felt so alone

Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Your legs they look like sticks electrobix yeah

Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Electrobix your moves they make me sick electrobix yeah
Your legs they look like sticks electrobix yeah

General Commentwow no one has yet commented about this great song! i love the very synth beginning then it goes totally gay electronic!!!

"Scissor sister can you work it on out"-classic

I always thought this song was about a weedy gay guy who decides to tone up and beomce "a hottie".
he gets teased when he is young by the "other little boys", who make him "feel like a fag". he goes on to say that he felt trapped inside so he breaks away from that pre set notion of weedy gay guys.

this coud perhaps be based on jasons(jake shears) own experiences. he was bullied when young for wearing dresses and make up (coincidence he participated in the bullying campaign :P) so his experiences could fit inot this song.

This is the kind of song id like to work out to :P its soo great! love it.

General CommentI don't he's talking about a big buff guy being trapped inside, he's talking about how he has to get all buff because he doesn't think anyone could ever want him just the way he was...I love this song but it's really sad.

General CommentThis is such a sad song. It has an amazing bass line, but the lyrics are so sad. This is one of the Scissor Sisters best. Anyone who is bothered by these lyrics is a homophobic loser. This song should nake straight people understand what it's like to be different!

General Commentthis song creeps the hell out of me. it has a cool synth beginning, but it's way too gay. I can handle the YMCA, but not this.
