"Shattering Song" as written by Les Claypool, Todd Huth and Jay Lane....
Can, can the butter churn, strike a match and watch it burn.
Can, can the butter churn, strike a match and watch it burn.
Can, can the butter churn strike a match and watch it burn.
Can, can the butter churn strike a match and watch it burn.

Shattering song shattering along.

Birds scatter and people chatter and the dog (or sun?) barks at the moon.

My mother (or grandma??) went to the doctor today,
He said don't brush your teeth with a spoon.
Why why why why.
Shattering song, shatterring along.

I went to the doctor today he spat something into my brain.
He said don't put the cat in the microwave.

I'll tell you about this boy, the old boy.

Can, can the butter churn, strike a match and watch it burn

I'll tell you it's the shattering song, just shatter up a storm if you
Like. We could go on, and on, heh heh heh I'll tell 'ya, tell 'ya
Boy. Woo Doogie!

General CommentOnly half of the lyrics are here. Well not to blame anyone there aren't any real concrete lyrics to this song. Just a lot of Les' usual ranting mixed overtop of each other. Great instrumentation throughout though. So if you find meaning to this song.....seek help
