Heaven's not enough
If when you get there, just another blue

And heaven's not enough
You think you've found it, then it loses you

You've thought of all there is
But not enough
And it loses you in a cloud

There (there)
Most everything is nothing that it seems
Where (where)
You see the things you only wanna see

I'd fly away (fly away)
To a higher place (higher place)
To say words I resist, to float away
To sigh, to breathe, forget

Heaven's not enough
If when I'm there I don't remember you
And heaven's not enough
You think you know it, then it uses you (uses you)

I saw so many things
But like a dream
Always losing me in a crowd

Cause I couldn't cry
Cause I turned away
Couldn't see the score

Didn't know the pain
Of leaving yesterday
Really far behind

In another life,
In another dream
By a different name

Gave it all away
For a memory
And a quiet lie

And I felt the face
Of a cold tonight
Still don't know the score

But I know the pain
Of leaving everything
Really far behind

And if I could cry
If I could live
What truth I did, then take me there
Heaven goodbye

This song is exactly as the title implies:

Heaven, where ever it may be, is not enough if when you are there, a certain one you care for is not there or you can't remember your previous life with them.

It says how they wish they could go back to say words they meant to say, but instead avoided them.

This is a beautiful song by a great artist. It speaks so much more, but most of that has to do with the anime this song originated from: Wolf's Rain.

This song is amazing, 'In another life, In another dream By a different name' Are my favorite lyrics in a song ever. This is one of the few songs words can't describe (very well) so I'm not even going to try xD

This is the single most inspirational, beautiful, and deep song I've ever heard, especially from a show. Wolf's Rain is one of my favorite shows, and as this song's meaning only really comes to life when you know the story of the show, I recommend watching it.

Heaven isn't really 'heaven' when you look back at all you left behind (or can't even do that, as 'when I'm there I don't remember you' implies). Powerful lyrics in a powerful song.

Wonderful song from a wonderful show. This song holds a very deep meaning for me. And, not only is the song relevant to the show but also to our daily lives if you come to think of it. We just work too hard, day after day, in order to make our lives seem like heaven but one day, when we achieve it after years and years of hard-work and yearning, and breaking so many promises, the heaven that we have made for ourselves is no longer the heaven that we wish because we have lost our loved one (breaking promises and stuff) in order to find our heaven. And at that we regret it and wish we could go back. Atleast, that is what the song means to me.

This song is just as captivating as the show. Wolf's Rain is quite possibly the saddest anime I've ever watched.

    My Interpretation

This song really feels like the real meaning of heaven to me-- it still remains my most favorite song- till date! it's really profound and pulls the strings of my heart! it really gets one thinking that in fact heaven is in reality all around us while we last and one is really lucky if one can catch it while it's still near hand!SO never give up HOPE;-D

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
