"Since You've Been Gone" as written by Bryan Michael Cox, Kendrick Dean and Adonis Shropshire....
It seems that nothing ever goes my way
Since you broke my heart when you left that day
There's nowhere to go so just stay with me
'Cause since you've been gone, I've been begging you please

To tell me you're not alright
And you needed to come home
(Since you've been gone)
To tell me you're not okay
And you needed me all along
Since you've been gone
I need to hear from you
Since you've been gone

It seems that every time you swear to God that you're leaving
I'm down on my knees begging you to stay
There's nowhere to go so just stay with me
'Cause since you've been gone, I've been begging you please

To tell me you're not alright
And you needed to come home
(Since you've been gone)
To tell me you're not okay
And you needed me all along
Since you've been gone

Please don't leave me here alone
Just stay awhile and make me smile
Please don't leave me here alone
Just stay awhile, baby smile

Since you've been gone, I need to hear from you
Since you've been gone, I need to hear you say

Tell me you're not alright
And you needed to come home
(Since you've been gone)
Tell me you're not okay
And you needed me all along
Since you've been gone
I need to hear you say
Since you've been gone
Don't tell me, don't tell me
I need to hear you say

General CommentOne of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. Ever. Period.

That said, the song's lyrics really speak for themselves. They tell the tale of a man who's girl left him. Now he can only hope and pray that something is wrong with her so that she is forced to come home and return to him.

General CommentOmg, this really is one of the greatest songs ever written.
Makes me want to ball my eyes out everytime I hear it, but I can't get enough of it.
    Simply amazing, musical perfection.

General CommentThis song is great, and I love Theory of A Deadman. This song however does remind me of my ex fiance...and how when we broke up...a few days later she was texting, and calling me wanting to get back together...She was saying how she missed me, and such...like an idiot, I bought into her BS...only to be heartbroken after a month back together. She also told me that she was still in love with me..I had moved on with my life, and I was starting to "talk" to another woman...but when she (my ex) told me she still loved me...I bought her crap. The romance never coulda worked...I was in a different place in my life than she was.
