"Misty" as written by and Johnny/burke Burke....
Look at me
I'm as helpless as a kitten up a tree
And I feel like I'm clingin' to a cloud
I can't understand
I get misty, just holding your hand

Walk my way
And a thousand violins begin to play
Or it might be the sound of your hello
That music I hear
I get misty whenever you're near

Don't you know that you're leading me on?
And it's just what I want you to do
Can't you see that I'm hopelessly lost?
That's why I'm following you

On my own
When I wander through this wonderland alone
Never knowing my right foot from my left
My hat from my glove
I'm too misty, and too much in love

Too misty
And too much
Too much in love

General Commentmisty is simpelweg mistig. Door de mist (in dit geval de liefde) zie je niets anders meer dan die persoon. Dat is het enige wara je nog aan kan denken, maakt niet uit wat ze/hij met je doet, zolang ze/hij je ziet staan. Mijn interpretatie althans...

General Commenti always thought that misty meant her eyes would get a little wet.. as in glisten.. because she was so touched .. lol

General Commentsoulrebel has a point there as well. Misty could indeed be the tearing up of the eyes. Good point!
