Your time is up!
We've been counting down your days,
Going over every false thing you say.

We wish it could be different.
We wished you stayed the same.
Tearing down our idols--living life our own way.
Taking the chance to say

All my heroes are dead
All my heroes are dead

Were we to blind to see you were only human like me?
But we can't help or feel.
Empty words: they're all you gave.
Struggling to take back our days.

They build you up watch you fall
They build you up watch you fall
Can't you see it can't be what you want
Because I love to watch them fall

Where did we lose control we thought it last forever
Where did we lose control we thought it last forever
We thought it'd last forever
We thought it'd last forever

Were counting down away your days
Our heroes, the ones they use to be
Our idols fall!
Our heroes, the ones they use to be
Our idols fall away!

my favey song by comeback kid. i think means that, idolizing people, doesnt really work, there cant be any such thing as anyone better than you, because were all human.

i think maybe it's about people 'selling out' We've been counting down your days Going over every false thing you say We wish it could be different wish you'd stayed the same Tearing down our idols. Living life our own way

but then it's stating that you shouldn't put that weight on peoples shoulders because it's human nature to change.

I think this song is about not relying on others opinions to get you through life. You can't get through life by just taking in others advice on what you should do because one day, they may be gone and who will you turn to when you have no one to rely on? It's your life, do what you want, no one can tell you differently.

I think False idols falls means that god is the only real god, and others will only fail you apart from the actual god himself.

It's about not having heroes, because we're all Human, and will fuck up eventually, so it's not worth putting someone on a pedestal, only to fail and disappoint you.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
