"Hungry Hungry" as written by and Billie Joe/wright Iii Armstrong....
Shiny working models
Tall gorgeous models
Hungry hungry models
On the runway

Baby, I need jacket
I see through that skirt
Purple plastic earrings
Finger down her throat

Walking like a tiger
Spinning at the end
Hungry hungry models
On the runway

Shiny working models
Tall gorgeous models
Hungry hungry models
On the runway

Hungry hungry models
On the runway

Lucy's kind of nervous
Jeannie's on the pill
Peggy's in pajamas
Stevie's kissing jill

Shiny working models
Tall gorgeous models
Hungry hungry models
On the runway

Pretty little models
Sitting by the pole
Talking about fashion
Hungry like the wolf

General CommentKinda simple; anorexic models want food and our society these days is so bent on people having to be skinny. And I believe it's sung by Tre aka The Snoo... in one of his weird voices.

General CommentIt's also a reference to fellow New Wave band Duran Duran, quoting their song "Hungry like the wolf". Duran were famous for their glamourous videos containing very thin women in exotic locations. For extra inspiration look up the video for "Girls on Film" or anything by the band Arcadia. You'll get an idea of where *this* song comes from.

I also agree with what sapphirexx has said on the subject of society's obsession with anorexic thinness. The ultimate in rebelliousness would be to not give a shit and to be a healthy weight for your height and just be yourself instead of subsisting on less than 100 cals a day. It's the "foot-binding" of the modern age!

Tre is an amazing drummer btw! He's a talent and a half! Yay to The Snoo!

General CommentNo, no... I'm pretty sure the singer is Mike. If you listen to other songs he sings in like J.A.R and Emenius Sleepus you'll know it's definitely him. ummm... I love Mike :) He's like the best one. So cute. And this song isn't bad either. I love how they're mocking superficial people. haha :)

General CommentOops... just ignore me. I don't know what was I thinking. Mike doesn't sing in those songs I think he just wrote them. But I still think this song sounds like him... or maybe just the backup vocals. I know nothing really...

General CommentYes, Mike doesn't sing those songs but he does sing the green day song "Governater", and part of "Homecoming" and it is Mike that sings this song if you listen to governator you can easily connect the two. The song meaning is also very straight forward which is also otherwise explained by sapphirexx.

I din't know he sings Governator (even though I have heard it) but I of course knew he sings part of Homecoming.

General CommentTre sings this one. I saw them live and can confirm this. Just watch the DVD Disease is Punishment. All 3 members of Green Day sing different songs for The Network.
