Wear a black hat baby I'll check you out
Wear a night coat for a night on the town
Keep your head real low or they'll find us out
Yeah just play it cool, this is the final count
Red eye glare from the balcony
Give me the photo lens marked sympathy
Nine o'clock figure in satin sheets
Yeah just play it cool, and follow me
And everything you touch just turns to gold
And everything you touch just turns to gold
And everything you touch in me is yours
With duck taped hands and blindfold on
I will find out how it all went so wrong
Investigate this ticking bomb
Before it goes off, and kills us all
And everything you touch just turns to gold
And everything you touch in me is yours
Take away these pitted alms
And try to move on

General CommentBtw, it's not pitted alms, like olives, but "pity alms."

I've always loved this song, and wondered who "he" is that has a midas touch.

General Commentever think this might be a little bit about andrew and how jacks mannequin has taken off? I think to me it means he's realised that he was jealous of andrew, even a little bit, and he's gone hey this guys my friend n written this song, anyway I'm so closed minded I can't think of another meaning that's probably waiting to knock me out with a punch to the face.
