Yes, this is Pittsburgh Hearts.
It's your man Jared. Thank you for picking it up.
I hope you enjoy it. I'm not gonna bullshit you though its gonna be funky (funky...).

transcendentalist, weekend vagrance
arms stretched across storefront pavement
rattling insense, packaging insight
acting indigent, actually last night you ate gourmet
four star eateries, stop bullshiting,
you are not misleading me
loosely holding a change cup
expecting me to bequeath you my coin collection
I don't finance drugs or camping trips
or concerts cause your propaganda manuscripts
that you scribbled while visiting higher planes
they read like energy bar ad campaigns
I'm a runner not a power lifter
every summer I pour the blood of wayward drifters
selling me their favorite jam band bootlegs
nowadays you get a kick in the sex eggs!!

I'm in. I'm In. We're into this.
Nothing but us and a burnt instrumental disc.
Bare essentialists, the duo's adventurous.
Miserable assholes are not into us.
Truck-stop living, hot like sweating, life-affirming.
Every night, bloodletting.
Figuratively, we are dropping the deuce.
(deuce...)

slain dragons, freshly bled, soak the earth
re-flesh the bones of all the dead scientists
that yielded worthy purposes
lives cut short inside the hot furnaces
such occurences garner no press
purity, kill-joys
furious conquests
in the event that my feathers are ruffled
I implement every getaway muscle
a scuffle's avoided whenever its possible
sensible shoes keep me out of the hospital
cause I'm not in to blood loss
I donated plasma and picked up a laptop
binary digits that make up the system
are all that it knows — and that's not realism
to show my computer just what's been missing,
we went out for rotisserie chicken

I'm in.
(deuce...)

General CommentI kind of understood the first part about people asking for handouts to pay for luxuries instead of nessecities. The second part had something to do with opting for sensibles means to conflict. (I could be wrong cause GB likes fucking with people's understanding of shit).

General CommentNot just luxuries; specifically Iguanadon's sick of being asked to pay for these culty losers drugs via begging.

I think the second verse has to do with why they formed GB3; science slew the dragons, and society killed the scientists, and Jackson didn't wanna end up like that so they use music as their medium?

    General Commentthe lyric is:

"i don't finance drugs or camping trips
    or counter-culture propaganda manuscripts"

    NOT:
"I don't finance drugs or camping trips
or concerts cause your propaganda manuscripts"

General CommentActually I don't know if that lyric's either "Concerts cause your propoganda manuscripts" or "Counter Culture propoganda manuscripts"

I could be wrong, but I always thought it was "cancer causing propoganda manuscripts"

General Comment"counter-culture propaganda manuscripts" makes way more sense, seeing as the following line is "that you scribble while visiting higher planes"

General CommentFor a guy who reads a lot of David Icke, I don't see how Jackson hates counter culture manuscripts.

    Beyotch.
