tell me did we lose another one of my brothers at the gallows. you dont have to be afraid to tell me, i already knew. hes my brother, the blood of my blood. did you slip out unnoticed before dawn with the noose that you prepared for my brother, your father, my fathers father. the blood of my blood. tel me what is to become of me if youre my father, my fathers father, the blood of my blood, and your blood is my blood. am i to slip out before dawn unnoticed with the noose that i prepared for the brother of my son and the blood of my blood

General CommentI think this song may be about how each new generation makes peace with the things their father's generation hated.

General CommentYeah, I think its about how the older generation always feel angry at younger generations. Like when Rymodee says 'my brother' I don't think he necessarily means actual blood relation, but another member of his generation. And how his 'father' or a member of an older generation hates the younger generations, and Rymodees wondering whether he'll be that bitter when he's older. That's just how I see it, anyway.
