"Magic Power" as written by Mike Levine, Gil Moore and Rik Emmett....
Something's at the edge of your mind, you don't know what it is
Somethin' you were hopin' to find but your not sure what it is
Then you hear the music and it all comes crystal clear
The music does the talkin' says the things you want to hear

I'm young, I'm wild and I'm free
I got the magic power of the music in me

She climbs into bed, she pulls the covers overhead and she turns her little radio on
She's had a rotten day so she hopes the DJ's gonna play her favorite song
It makes her feel much better, brings her closer to her dreams
A little magic power makes it better that it seems

She's young now, she's wild now, she wants to be free
She gets the magic power of the music in me

If you're thinkin' it over but you just can't sort it out
Do you want someone to tell you what they think it's all about
Are you the one and only who's sad and lonely, reachin' for the top
Well the music keeps you goin' and it's never gonna stop
Never gonna stop
Never gonna, never gonna, never gonna stop

The world is full of compromise, and infinite red tape
But the music's got the magic, it's your one chance for escape
So turn me on - turn me up - it's your turn to dream
A little magic power makes it better than it seems

I'm young, I'm wild and I'm free
I got the magic power of the music in me

General CommentThis is song is truly...well, for lack of a better word, magical. I can't resist its lure. Every time it comes on I just can't help but to sing along as loud as my lung capacity permits and most commonly dance around like a complete idiot. I don't know what it is about it, I just adore the song!

General CommentI really can't believe that nobody posted on this song yet. This is the true sex drugs and rock n roll song. Anyway its about having a song stuck in your head and wanting to hear it on the radio. Also about being young.

General Commentthis song is about how for some people music can make you feel free. and for some people who hear it, young. also that music takes you to another place, and bring it to life. especialy if its your favorite song. some ppl tend to get bullied at school, and when they put on a record, its not gonna judge them or tell them what to do. people have different views about different songs, so they can take a song and have it relate to them. thats wut i think have the magic power means.

General CommentI think of this as a sort-of twin to The Sirit Of Radio by Rush, both are, in part, about that magic lift you get hearing your song on the radio.
