A fight, an act of aggression a release of anger.
An elevated level of testosterone made me lose my temper.
Something strange – a change, a chemical reaction begins to occur.
Trying my best to keep the birds in the nest and suppress this powerful urge.

Yo – I can't believe I'm in a fight.
I don't know what's come over me – not to be trusted after tonight.

It has to be impossible to reason with Crystal Meth.
A fucked up attitude and no apparent fear of death.
But of course it's a no win situation – they took me to jail.
Sorry I can't hang around – cause the boys come and spring me out on bail.

Yo – I can't believe I'm in a fight.
I don't know what's come over me – not to be trusted after tonight.

But of course it's a no win situation – they took em to jail.
Sorry I can't hang around cause the boys come and spring me out on bail.

Police steady askin' – Who did the bustin'? Police steady askin' – Who did the bustin'? Police steady askin' – Who did the fucking bustin'?

Sorry, y'all cause we didn't even get to play in the show.
The entertainment was out on the pavement – Do-si-Do!
Farewell San Luis, maybe we'll see you next time.
We'll get to hang with you, the beloved Blue and the crystal Meth head swine.

Yo – I can't believe I'm in a fight.
I don't know what's come over me – not to be trusted after tonight.

General CommentThis song was about a riot of sorts that broke out at an early Urge show in San Luis Obispo, California in the late '80s. Steve Ewing (singer for The Urge) was jailed in the aftermath.

The acronym in the song title is for "San Luis Obispo Brawl."

The reference to "San Luis" in the song is to that city, rather than the band's hometown of St. Louis.
