how did i get so lost inside of you?
i could be saved i could be found.
but get high and dry that’s all i really wanna do.
so i guess ill just stick around.
fading going black.
gotta move gotta wake up.
it is the sunlight.
everyone is dead.
and we dance like a knifefight.
i am the sunlight.
i lost my inspiration lying in your bed.
but you cannot rape the willing.
you taste like self-destruction i follow where I’m lead.
you cannot rape the willing.
i count the days and watch your fires burn.
just give me time to blow them out.
but get high and dry thats all i really wanna do.
so if you want i could bring you down.
now i get chills when youre around.
but we still speak with out sound.
well im dying.

General CommentAt first, I didn't quite know what to make of it, but I was sure it had nothing to do with physical rape, more of mental rape. Ok stay with me here. It can apply to any problem, like drug abuse or something like that, something that sucks you in a good bit. It's about a person that could get out of the addiction, but either can't.. or just doesn't want to. And with peer pressure and all, you cannot rape the willing, you cant make them do something if they already want to. That's what I made of it.

General Commentbro...it clearly is about physical rape. "i lost my inspiration lying IN YOUR BED"...it doesn't get any more clear cut than that. sometimes you might not like a girl at all because she's a total bitch but then again she's so damn hot you lose your will(inspiration) to hate/resist her. he's ready to take whatever she's gonna give him and without a fight... you cannot rape the willing. amen. women, do your fellow men a favor and do rape them thoroughly.

General Commenti hate to tell you atemporal, but matt of emanuel even came out and said this song is NOT about physical rape, and that it is all about a mental rape of himself. and yes it is about not being able to make someone do something if they already want to do it.

General CommentYeah this talk is about mental rape. I know that drugs might have been a big part in some of the band member is live because the reason they decided to name them self’s Emanuel was because some of the members meet through a drug dealer. I cannot remember whom though. Sorry.

General Commentthis song may not be about getting raped...but it could have to do with sex..
i lost my inspiration lying in your bed.
but you cannot rape the willing.
you taste like self-destruction i follow where I’m lead.
    you cannot rape the willing

no one was raped cause they were willing to do the deed.."i follow where I’m lead" he did it, cause she was leading him too..i dunno. but thats just one part of the song.
