"Superstar Wonderful Weirdos" as written by Terrance Lee Sawchuk, Glen Ballard and Alanis Morissette....
sarah is only ten
she's attracted to older men,
and they seem to like her back
because she's intelligent.

billy is a football star,
and he drives around in his muscle car,
but he really really wants to be a ballerina
and he wonders;
who am i?
who am i?
and he wants to be a man,
but he doesn't understand
it is allright to be what he wants

i am calling all superstar wonderful weirdos
can you hear me call tonight?
i know you're alone in your world full of fear though,
but the more you run the harder it is to hide.

well johnny studies rockets
with his plastic protected pockets,
so his pens don't leak out upon the floor

where jenny's rolling
she's scared of growing
she is five feet taller than the girl next door,
and she wonders;
who am i?
what the hell am i?
but she's got a lot to offer,
but she doesn't look like cindy crawford,
and it makes her cry.

i am calling all superstar wonderful weirdos
can you hear me call tonight?
i know you're alone in your world full of fear though,
but the more you run the harder it is to hide.

it's a total rejection of the system
it's your honest opinion for the very first time
it's a different preception of the living,
and it's time that you made up your minds.

i am calling all superstar wonderful weirdos
you're not alone tonight
i am calling all superstar wonderful weirdos
can you hear me call tonight?
i know you are alone in your world full of fear though,
but the more you run the harder it is to hide.

i am calling all superstar wonderful weirdos
can you hear me call?
can you hear me call tonight?

    General CommentLove this song! I only have a MQ version of it but its still one of my favorites. I wish she would release all of the songs that dont make it onto her albums because some of them are really really great. This song is really self explanitory. She is saying its ok to be different because youre not the only one that is.

    General Commenti downloaded this song somewhere along with a couple of other b-side tracks..
    its on my i-pod now and i love it...

    My favourite verse is::::

    where jenny's rolling
    she's scared of growing
    she is five feet taller than the girl next door,
    and she wonders;
    who am i?
    what the hell am i?
    but she's got a lot to offer,
    but she doesn't look like cindy crawford,
    and it makes her cry.

    General Commentsuch cheesy lyrics, when you consider it is ALANIS who wrote this. It's obvious why this song didn't make it on jagged little pill. However it has a good message about accepting your "weirdness".
