"Nobody" as written by Amy Jane Studt and Yak Bondy....
Sometimes it seems that I have no place
And I don't know what to do with myself
Light up another, I can taste the filth inside
And I need to cleanse my soul

Nobody knows, nobody cares
That I died on the inside
Nobody sees the lie that is me
'Cause I smile on the outside
Still nobody knows and nobody cares
That I walk on the wrong side
Tell me who (nobody)
Tell me who (nobody)
Tell me who (nobody)
But you...

All the friends that I've had
Where are they now?
Guess I'm far too intense to be loved
All the things that I hate, I hate about myself
And I need to cleanse my soul

Nobody knows, nobody cares
That I died on the inside
Nobody sees the lie that is me
'Cause I smile on the outside
Still nobody knows and nobody cares
That I walk on the wrong side
Tell me who (nobody)
Tell me who (nobody)
Tell me who (nobody)
But you...

I have nobody but you
Nobody, nobody but you

Nobody knows, nobody cares
That I died on the inside
Nobody sees the lie that is me
'Cause I smile (I smile) on the outside
Still nobody knows and nobody cares
That I walk on the wrong side
Nobody knows and nobody cares but you...
Nobody knows and nobody cares but you...

General Commentomg, no one has commented on this?!
anyway. it's about one person staying loyal to you, no matter what, even though everyone else leaves or doesn't care, this person stays.

General CommentIt's a bit strange though - she still seems really upset and pesimistic even though she has that "one person."
Doesn't make sense, unless she's going for a darker angle...

General CommentI always thought you "you" was her talking about herself. Or perhaps God, his seeing through all her facades?

General CommentI actually feel like shes talking about herself, as Prettyinpunk mentioned.. I feel this song is about how shes gotten herself into something thats too deep....."Light up another, I can taste the filth inside.." Maybe drugs of some sort.. But I think its about how she slowly changed into someone that she used to hate and now her friends, and all who were once close, slowly drifted away. Or if they just don't realize how far she is falling.

General Commentthis is a depressing song in a way, but about one person who is there for you no matter what. but obviously she has a lot of problems.

General CommentThis song isn't about having someone who's there for you no matter what it's about the total opposite. It's about being lonely. She's let her problems and her misery isolate herself from everyone and she doesn't feel like there is anyone who cares about her happiness or what she's going through. The "but you" is referring to herself, I thought that was obvious. IMO the problem she is going through is related to drug addiction: "light up another, I can taste the filth inside, I need to cleanse myself".
