"Owl" as written by and Tyson Baker....
When the owl breaks the light beam in a nights dream ride.
Am I seeing in slow, am I driving too fast for the sound
To finally break past time spent following straight lines to death.
Behind my eyes in a parallel sky
The belongs in the shapes in the clouds
Try to take me to the grounded ones skyward
There's a fog that casts a planetary haze
To hide the white lined aggression in our eyes.

in a season of collapsed lungs,
There's a dark holiday
And we are following straight lines to death

General CommentIts basically a song about letting wings that only knew captivity be free...

Basically a "phoenix rises" type of song, ya know?

    Oh well... think about it!

General CommentI think this is a pivotal part in the entire albun. The album starts happy, with stuff like It Happens, then progressively gets darker, until Owl where it gets super hapy, then to Per Sempre Marciamo where it's super dark. Seeing P Sempre Marciamo is aot a once great person ruined by drugs I think this is thie final drug trip they have, which is why the lyrics are so bizzarre.
